Serious power for lighting big things: a mature tree, the front of a house, a hedge line or a garden wall. The 36W suits a single tree or feature, the 72W and 108W a large tree or a facade, and the 150W a whole elevation or a big garden, covering up to about 50 square metres.

The remote cycles through colours or holds one, so you can wash the house in warm white every night and switch to colour for parties. It is a favourite for Christmas and Bonfire Night displays. The plug-in version needs no electrician, and the hardwired version fits permanently.
