Most pendant lamps hang with weight. The Tense Tyvek Pendant Lamp barely registers against a ceiling — a thin disc of DuPont paper stretched over a glass fiber frame, diffusing the integrated LED into a clean, even wash of light that feels larger than the fixture itself. The form is resolved in the way only restraint can produce: nothing added, nothing superfluous.

📄 DuPont Tyvek Paper Tyvek is the same material used in architectural building wraps — extraordinarily strong for its weight, resistant to tearing, and translucent enough to diffuse light evenly across its entire surface.
☁️ Cloud-Like Presence The ultra-low profile — 12 to 18 cm tall depending on size — means the lamp sits close to the ceiling and reads as a luminous disc rather than a hanging object. It floats. The room beneath it opens.
💡 Even Diffusion The integrated LED distributes its output uniformly through the Tyvek surface — no hot center, no edge shadow. The light that reaches the room is smooth, calm, and consistent regardless of the size you choose.
📐 Sloped Ceiling Ready Compatible with angled ceilings up to 30° — the hardware keeps the disc level regardless of what's above it. Available in three single sizes and two cluster configurations.
Single, Three, or Five — A Composition, Not Just Lighting A single Tense over a small dining table is precise and complete. The 3-head configuration — 60, 80, and 100 cm discs at the same height — creates a graduated cloud effect above a longer table or kitchen island. The 5-head set adds two more for spaces that want a ceiling installation that functions as a visual centerpiece, not just an overhead fixture. Each disc hangs independently, so height can be adjusted per disc to create intentional depth in the cluster.

📋 About the Shade: The lampshade is made from DuPont Tyvek paper — a lightweight, durable technical material, not standard paper. It is designed to remain stable with heat and long-term use.
✉️ Shipping Creases: The Tyvek shade may arrive with slight fold lines from packaging. These are temporary — they fade naturally once the lamp is installed and in regular use as the material relaxes with warmth from the LED.
⚠️ Dimming: The built-in LED does not support dimming. Do not pair with a dimmer switch — this will not reduce brightness and may cause flickering or damage.
