Each travertine pattern is unique. This is a real natural-stone pendant, so the vein pattern, pitting, and tonal gradient on your piece will not match the catalogue photos exactly. The shape, dimensions, and overall warm-cream colour will match — but the surface character is one-of-a-kind. We see this as the product's signature, not a flaw.
Is this real travertine stone or a stone-look composite? +
It is real natural travertine — quarried, cut, and finished from genuine stone. This means the surface carries authentic natural pitting (small cavities characteristic of travertine), unique vein patterns, and subtle tonal gradients. It is not a printed or cast composite.
Will my piece look like the photos? +
The shape, dimensions, and overall warm-beige colour will match exactly. The surface pattern — vein direction, pitting density, and tonal gradient — will be unique to your piece, since each is cut from a different section of the stone. If you would like to request a particular pattern style (e.g. "more uniform" or "stronger veining"), please contact us before ordering — we will do our best to accommodate.
Why does the dimmer driver need to be outside the canopy? +
The TRIAC dimming driver generates heat during operation. If enclosed inside the ceiling canopy with the fixture, the driver may overheat — causing dimming flicker, premature failure, or in extreme cases, the canopy becoming hot to the touch. Installing the driver in the ceiling cavity (or another ventilated space outside the canopy) ensures stable performance and long driver life.
Do I need to buy a bulb? +
No. The pendant has a built-in integrated LED — no bulb purchase, no replacement, no compatibility concerns. The module is rated at ~18W with 1260 lm output (equivalent to roughly a 100W incandescent bulb's brightness in a warm white tone).
What if the LED stops working? +
The integrated LED is built to last many years of typical use. In the rare event of a failure, please contact us directly with your SKU and order details, and we will arrange replacement service. We do not recommend self-repair — accessing the LED requires careful handling of the natural stone body.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes — the Travertine pendant works with TRIAC-compatible wall dimmers (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora). Important: the dimmer driver must be placed outside the canopy for proper performance. Please confirm this with your electrician before installation.
Which size should I choose? +
As a general guide: 1 Head (∅ 20 cm) suits bedside, hallways, or as a small accent. 2 Heads (L 55 cm) — perfect over breakfast bars, vanities, or small dining tables for 2–4. 3 Heads (L 100 cm) — the statement size, ideal for kitchen islands, long dining tables (180 cm+), or open-plan spaces.
How do I clean travertine? +
Switch off the wall power and let the fixture cool. Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild pH-neutral soap — avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon, citrus-based) which etch natural stone. Do not use abrasive sponges. The natural pitting will hold dust over time, which is part of the material's character.
What if the stone arrives chipped or cracked? +
Natural stone is carefully packaged but can occasionally be damaged in transit. If your pendant arrives chipped or cracked, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos — we will arrange a replacement promptly. Do not install a damaged piece.
