Real wood blades on a slim metal motor housing give it a Scandinavian look, closer to furniture than an appliance. Under 30dB it is quieter than a whisper, which matters in a bedroom. Reverse mode pushes warm air back down in winter, so it works all year, not just in a heatwave.
