These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Marriton website and your purchase of products from MARRITON LTD.

In these Terms & Conditions, “Marriton”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MARRITON LTD. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or placing an order.

Marriton is a UK-based online retailer selling a range of consumer products.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity;

• interfere with the security or operation of the website;

• introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful material;

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account;

• use automated systems to scrape or copy substantial amounts of website content without our permission;

• place fraudulent or abusive orders;

• misuse discount codes, promotions, refunds or chargebacks; or

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory consumer rights.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information associated with your account is accurate and up to date and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, misuse or breach of these Terms.

4. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and specifications displayed on our website are accurate.

Product images are provided for illustration unless expressly stated otherwise.

Because products may be supplied by different manufacturers and fulfilment partners, there may occasionally be minor variations in colour, packaging, dimensions, finish, labelling or appearance.

Such variations will not intentionally alter the essential nature or functionality of a product.

Where specifications, measurements, materials or other technical information are supplied to us by a manufacturer or supplier, we make reasonable efforts to ensure the information displayed is accurate. Manufacturers and suppliers may change specifications from time to time.

Where products require safety information, warnings or instructions, these may be provided on the product page, packaging, labels or accompanying documentation.

5. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We may limit quantities purchased where reasonably necessary, including because of stock limitations, supplier restrictions, suspected fraud or operational circumstances.

If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may cancel the affected item or order.

If we cancel a paid order because the product cannot reasonably be supplied, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item using the original payment method, subject to payment-provider processing times.

6. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.

After submitting an order, you may receive an automated confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract between you and Marriton is formed when we accept your order, which may occur when we expressly confirm acceptance or when we dispatch the products, unless we tell you otherwise.

We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including where:

• the product is unavailable;

• there is an obvious pricing or product-description error;

• payment cannot be authorised;

• we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;

• a product cannot lawfully be supplied;

• a supplier or fulfilment partner cannot fulfil the order; or

• the information provided is insufficient to complete the order safely.

Where an order has been paid for and is subsequently cancelled before acceptance, we will issue the appropriate refund.

7. Prices

Prices are displayed in the applicable currency shown on our website or at checkout.

Marriton may offer products in GBP, USD and EUR.

Prices may change before an order is accepted.

Once an order has been accepted, the agreed product price will not be changed except where permitted by law or where necessary to correct an obvious error.

Any delivery charges applicable to an order will be shown before you complete payment.

8. Payment

Payment is processed using Shopify and the payment methods made available at checkout.

You must provide payment information that you are authorised to use.

We may carry out appropriate fraud and payment-security checks.

If payment cannot be successfully completed, we may cancel or delay the order until payment is received.

9. Fulfilment and Dispatch

Marriton uses third-party fulfilment, warehousing and logistics partners to process and dispatch some orders.

Depending on the product and available inventory, a product may be dispatched from an EU warehouse or from China.

The dispatch location may therefore differ between products and orders.

The name, branding or address of a manufacturer, supplier, warehouse or fulfilment partner may appear on packaging or delivery documentation.

An order containing multiple products may be delivered in separate parcels.

These arrangements do not change the fact that your purchase contract is with MARRITON LTD.

10. Delivery

Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days.

After dispatch, delivery is generally estimated at approximately 5–15 business days.

Actual delivery times can vary depending on factors including the delivery address, carrier operations, customs processing, warehouse location, peak periods, public holidays, weather and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly state otherwise.

We will comply with any mandatory delivery requirements that apply under UK consumer law.

If an order is subject to a significant unexpected delay, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate information.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

11. Import Duties and Taxes

For standard UK orders, Marriton is responsible for import duties and similar import charges that we are required to pay in connection with fulfilment.

We aim to ensure that all mandatory charges that you are required to pay are disclosed before checkout.

You should not normally be asked to pay a separate import-duty charge to receive a standard Marriton order.

12. Returns and Refunds

Our Returns & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Nothing in our policies or these Terms limits or excludes any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Details of our voluntary 30-day return policy, statutory cancellation rights, faulty-item procedures, return costs and refunds are provided in our Returns & Refund Policy.

13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, materially different from its description or incorrect, please contact us at comms@marriton.com.

We may ask for photographs, videos, order details or other information reasonably required to investigate the issue.

Where applicable, we will provide the remedy required by law, which may include repair, replacement, refund or price reduction.

Where a return is required because the product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, Marriton will cover the reasonable return cost.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.

14. Promotions and Discount Codes

We may offer promotional prices, discount codes, bundle offers or other promotions from time to time.

Promotions may have additional conditions such as expiry dates, minimum spends, product exclusions or usage limits.

Those conditions will be displayed with the relevant offer.

We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in promotional pricing or terms.

We will not knowingly describe an offer as limited, discounted or time-sensitive where that description is materially misleading.

15. Subscriptions

Where Marriton offers products or services on a subscription basis, the applicable price, frequency and renewal arrangements will be presented before purchase.

Where a subscription automatically renews, this will be made clear before you purchase.

You may cancel a subscription using the cancellation method made available by Marriton or Shopify, subject to any lawful notice arrangements clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

Any mandatory consumer cancellation rights continue to apply.

16. Pre-Orders

Where a product is offered as a pre-order, the product page or checkout will indicate that it is a pre-order and will provide an estimated fulfilment or dispatch timeframe where reasonably available.

Pre-order dates are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed.

If a significant delay occurs, we will provide appropriate information and any cancellation or refund rights required by law.

17. Intellectual Property

The Marriton name, logo, branding and original website content created by Marriton belong to MARRITON LTD or our licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license or commercially exploit Marriton's branding or original website content without our prior written permission.

Some product photographs, descriptions, specifications or other materials may originate from manufacturers, suppliers or other third parties and may be used by Marriton under applicable rights or permissions.

18. Reviews and Customer Content

We do not knowingly publish fabricated customer reviews or testimonials.

Where customer reviews or testimonials are displayed, they should represent genuine customer experiences.

We may remove reviews or other content where reasonably necessary because the content is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, defamatory, irrelevant or otherwise unsuitable.

19. Third-Party Services

Our website uses third-party services necessary to operate the store, including Shopify, payment processors, logistics and fulfilment providers, analytics providers and other technology or service providers.

Those providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Our use of such providers does not reduce your contractual rights against Marriton.

We aim to keep our website available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

We may temporarily suspend or modify the website for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to those limitations, we will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or do not arise naturally from a breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights in relation to goods.

22. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, serious carrier disruption, customs disruption, natural disasters, industrial action, government action or major infrastructure failures.

This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The Terms applying to your purchase will generally be the version in force when your order is accepted.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights available to you under applicable UK consumer law.

Nothing in this section removes any right you may have to bring a claim in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
