Traditional gate pillar lantern in black aluminium with clear glass panes, 18.5cm x 18.5cm and 35.5cm tall. IP65, solar and mains 2-in-1: the solar LED runs up to 12 hours with 3 light colours on a remote, or wire it in with a standard E27 bulb.

The classic lantern shape for the top of a stone gate pillar, a brick pier or a fence post. Fit a pair either side of the drive and the entrance looks finished and welcoming, day and night. It suits a period house, a country home or a new build with a traditional front.

Start on solar with no cables at all. If you later run power to the pillar, fit an E27 bulb (not included) and wire it in, and it becomes a mains light on your switch or timer. The aluminium body will not rust and the glass lets the light through bright and clear.
