Stone and timber, hung over the table. Honed travertine and warm wood bring an earthy, organic-modern feel to kitchen islands, dining tables and bedsides, one of the most-wanted natural materials in interiors right now.
Choose a linear bar of 2 to 4 heads to run along an island, or the round 3-head cluster over a round table.
Straight answers
- Which size? ½ to ⅔ of the island length: 55cm for up to 110cm, 80cm for 120–160cm, 100cm for 150–200cm.
- How high? 76 to 91cm above the worktop.
- Yellow or black travertine? Yellow is warm and classic; black is dramatic and modern.
- Fitting? Hardwired, so it is a job for an electrician.
